Dementia Services training features in documentary

The work done to support and train carers of people with dementia, carried out by Bangor University’s Dementia Services Development Centre featured in Dementia: Making a difference, was shown on BBC 2 Wales and is now available to watch.

Dementia is set to affect one in three people over the age of 65 and its impact can be devastating. The programme looks at how pioneering work might offer some hope for the future, how professional carers are learning new approaches, and how people in the early stages of the disease and their families are dealing with dementia
