1000 Lives Plus

Congratulations to two Bangor University School of Healthcare Science students, who have been invited to present at the 1000 Lives Plus Student and Educators Master Class on 10th June in Swansea.  The students will be reporting on separate projects that contribute towards improving patient care in Wales.

 
Lynne Roberts and Donna Ward are both studying for a BN in Adult Nursing at Bangor. Lynne a third year student will give a talk entitled; “Quality in patient centred care planning: nursing interventions to alleviate constipation”. Asked how she feels about presenting at the event, Lynne said:  "I am very happy to have been selected to provide a verbal presentation at the 1000 Lives Plus event in Swansea. My presentation is about highlighting the importance of integrating simple interventions to ensure patient-centred care planning to alleviate constipation. I am looking forward to the event"

Donna is a second year student, and will present a poster on her project entitled; “Pre-operative anxiety management in day surgery units”. Donna is also “happy to be asked to present my poster”.
